A CHANCE OF FLURRIES (Last Remaining Artist Proofs from Limited Edition of 76 Prints)
This is "Missy" a female Eastern Timberwolf second only to Rudolphus, Brad's favorite wolf. Brad states "Missy" was the smallest wolf he has ever studied and was SOOO loving and submissive. She was such a lady and when she saw you walk towards her she would come up to you softly wagging her tail, squinting her eyes, and want to kiss and lick your face and hands non-stop until the cows would come home. Her spirit and mine spoke together and a lasting friendship and bond were immediately established. She loved people and I believe she truly wanted to be a person if she had her way. You could not leave her side as she pressed up against you begging and pleading with me to rub her soft warm hair beneath her heavy and thick guard hairs around her neck. She would close her eyes and begin to fall asleep. She was a sweetheart and I miss her still."
This close-up portrait that Brad did of her in pastel shows just how beautiful her guard hairs and fur looked on the first hard snowfall that occurred and here the weatherman was only calling for a chance of flurries, thus the title Brad gave to this portrait of his little Missy.
